Do you ever have times when you say something to someone in the heat of a moment then completley regret it later!?
Well I think I had one of those moments last night when I got completley paranoid and wound up about somthing that I think I may have just put off a really close friend from being a really close friend with me!
You know what!? I think I'm just being paranoid yet again so I'm just going to shut up about that! lol
I was also told last night by someone (not the close friend but someone else) that I might try not being so flirty. Apparently guys might actually prefer that because they would get to know everything else about me first. However, not being so flirty will be hard for me - being flirty is really part of who I am and I don't really know if I can change that and if I did manage to change it whether it would be for the better! I might try it but don't know whether it will stick! I'll keep ya posted!

In regards to your problem about saying things at the spur of the moment, it can cause problems but just speak with that close friend and apologise for it, if there meant to be that close, i'm sure they would forgive you.
As for flirting.. don't stop completly. A little flirting helps to relax the mood, but too much can just take guys minds of things sometimes. It will be hard, but you are probably more likely to get to know people better if you cut out some of the flirting.
I've just got used to your flirting, but it's such a part of you that I'm not sure giving it up is such a good thing.
Don't flirt more than YOU want to, though, because thats just giving up and changing yourself to suit other people.
Not being a guy, I can't tell how flirty you are. But also being pretty naive still, I don't seem to notice.
Either way, if it's a part of you, you can't erradicate it completely. Toning it down is probably all you need to do. After all, apparantly I'm flirty sometimes, but the examples given I just see as being friendly. It's probably one of those grey areas.
