well a lot has happened since I last was posting reguarly. As you have prob noticed from my previous blog I am no longer going out with Mehul and am now in a very happy relationship with Matt Kinsey. Things are happening pretty fast lol. Im also well into my new course (Youth Work and Ministry) with Oasis uk and am loving it! It's defin what I've always wanted to do! On the downside, I've recently been in hospital with Gall Stones (not nice) and have got to go back just after Christmas to have my gall bladder taken out with keyhole surgery (yuck!) so am behind on youth work hours and essays and have missed four lectures of uni (which I am not happy about!). Too much to do and so little time to do it in! Anyway, speaking of that I'd better get off blogger lol so thats the update and I'll hopefully blog more often. See ya!

Well. I seemed to have been lacking in blogginess recently lol.

As an update..

Im going out with Mehul Desai now and everything is great :)! Only prob is that my parents dont exactly approve :( so causing a few problems. Hopefully they wont stop us going out all together!

In terms of going to London it looks like im going to be homeless and penniless in september as Student Loan Co have messed me about with the forms I need and sent me the wrong ones and Oasis and Salvation Army have not found me a placement yet! Grr!

Please Pray for me! I need it! Im confused in every way!

its been ages!!

I havent really blogged much recently so heres the update...

I still havent got a placement for Oasis. Starting to get slightly worried but should be ok (I hope!!). Still can't wait to get to London though. I think its the independance factor more than anything, although i have been reading some of the recommended books for the course and am really enjoying them!!! This next year is going to me awesome!!

In terms of love life, I suppose i'd better do an update on that too. Well, the person i really liked before I've realised was a stupid mistake to like him in that way. Do I always read too much into friendships!? I don't know. But anyway, I'm just friends with that guy and I'm happy with that - in fact I feel better than i did before when I liked him as more than a friend! Weired! Anyway - been like that for a while now and I've since met another guy. I really like him and the best thing is - i think he likes me too! We'll see how things go when we meet up. I'll keep you posted! Cant wait!

Oasis Update

It's been a while since I last blogged so I thought I'd update on how everythings going with Oasis.

Well - I've been accepted on to the course :-) following the interview. I now just have to find a placement but heared today that theres a possibility that one could be found for me very soon!! I can't wait to get to London and get started now! It's going to be awesome!

The Interview!

Well, as promised, this is a post on how the interview at Oasis went! There were a few awkward questions that I had to think about before answering but other than that I think it went ok. Of course I won't actually know how ok it did go until I find out if I got in which I should find out in about a week from now. The worst part was feeling awfully ill the night before the interview and for the whole morning travelling there! Only felt better after lunchtime so I suppose it was just nerves that got the better of me. Don't think its affected how the interview went though. Just have to wait and see!

Interview!!!

I've now got a date for my interview for the Oasis Youth work and Youth Ministry Degree course in London - 8th May at 10am! I've got to have the interview, take part in an observed group discussion, do a case study exercise and sit in a presentation about the course. Should be good! I'll post how it goes! Hopefully everything will be great!
